Foodies In Spain offers a fun, hands on way to experience Mediterranean cuisine and offers an ideal opportunity to brush up on your cooking in the process. Our courses offer daily practical classes where guests will help to prepare their own three-course lunch or dinner, as well as local excursions to places of interest – a wine tasting at a nearby bodega, for example, or an introduction to traditional making-cheese in a nearby village. Classes are suited to everyone, whether you are new in the kitchen or a fully-fledged foodie, and because places are limited, they are easily adapted to the needs of the group.
During the course, guests will also be able to enjoy the cuisine of chef - and course teacher - Carlos Espejo who takes his inspiration from both the Mediterranean diet and the traditional dishes of the Alpujarra mountains in southern Spain.
